Supported file types and size limits

Goal

Know which files you can upload to BoodleBox, the size limits, and how many you can attach.

Supported file types

.pdf · .docx · .txt · .csv · .xlsx · .pptx · .png · .jpg

Size limits

• Images and spreadsheets: up to 10 MB
• All other supported files: up to 100 MB

How many you can attach

• Per chat: up to 10 documents total, of which up to 5 can be CSV/XLSX spreadsheets.
• Per bot (in a bot's Knowledge section): up to 5 CSV/XLSX spreadsheets.

Not supported

• Macro-enabled Excel (.xlsm), audio (.mp3, .wav, .m4a…), and video (.mp4, .mov…) are not supported.
• For images, an upload may succeed but error later if the image exceeds the AI model's maximum size — try a smaller image.
