How BoodleBox works
Goal
Understand the core ideas behind BoodleBox so the rest of the product makes sense.
The big idea
You chat with AI — but instead of being locked to one model, you can choose from many AI models and even bring several into the same conversation. Each model can see what came before, so you can have one model draft and another check it. This cross-checking reduces mistakes.
The building blocks
- Chats — where you talk with AI. Pick a model, or let BoodleBot auto-pick the best one for each message (see How BoodleBot picks the right AI for you).
- Bots — reusable assistants with their own instructions, personality, and knowledge. Use the built-in Boodle Bots and AI Tools, or build your own.
- Knowledge Bank — your encrypted file library. Upload files once, then attach them to chats or bots so the AI can use them.
- Prompt modes — toggles that change how the AI behaves (Coach, Message, Memory, Knowledge to Context).
- Classroom — for teachers: classes, assignments, and student work.
- Teams — for admins: members, seats, branding, and access control.
What happens behind the scenes
- Your prompts are anonymized before they reach any AI provider.
- Your files are encrypted, and are only used when you explicitly attach them.
- Providers can't train on your data — that's contractually prohibited.
- BoodleBox's technology trims the "noise" sent to models, which lowers cost and environmental impact without losing quality.
