Merging duplicate accounts
Goal
Consolidate two BoodleBox accounts into one — for example, if you signed up with a personal email and later need to use your institutional email.
Why this happens
You're identified by your email address, so you can end up with two accounts when:
- You signed up once with a personal email and again with an institutional one.
- Your single sign-on / identity-provider email doesn't match the email on your original account.
How to consolidate
There's no self-serve "merge" button — the team handles it:
- Email success@boodle.ai from one of the two accounts.
- List both email addresses and say which one you want to keep.
- Mention anything important on the other account — consolidating may involve removing the duplicate account and its data, so flag any chats, bots, or files you don't want to lose.
- The team confirms and consolidates the accounts for you.
Verify it's working
- You can sign in with the email you chose to keep, and your team/access is intact.
