How BoodleBox reads your documents
Goal
Understand what happens to a document when you attach it, and why you no longer need to turn anything on to get a full read.
Every question searches your whole document
When you attach a document to a chat or to a custom bot, BoodleBox indexes its complete contents. Every question you ask searches across the entire document and brings the most relevant passages to the AI answering you.
For most questions that focused approach gives the best result. The model gets the material it needs without wading through hundreds of pages of unrelated content.
Full documents load automatically when the task needs it
Some requests need the complete document in front of the model at once: pulling an exact quote, reviewing a paper end to end, summarising a whole report. BoodleBox now recognises those and loads the full document on its own, mid-response.
You don't need to enable anything. It works the same whether the document is attached to your chat or built into a custom bot.

It makes that call on every message, and it pulls only the documents your question actually needs. A bot with forty files attached won't flood itself because you asked about one of them.
The Knowledge to Context Mode toggle
You may still see the Knowledge to Context Mode option in your chat. Switching it on tells BoodleBox to load your attached documents in full up front, before you've asked anything.
Most people no longer need it, because the automatic behaviour covers what it was built for. It stays available if you'd rather begin a session already in full-document mode.
Getting the best results
- Attach documents rather than pasting long text into your message.
- Ask for what you actually want. If you need exact quotes or a complete review, say so — "quote the exact language", "review the entire document" — and BoodleBox will work from the full text.
- Keep bot knowledge relevant. Custom bots do best when their attached documents relate to the bot's purpose. You no longer need to paste document contents into bot instructions or split large files into pieces.
What changed
If you used BoodleBox before this update, you may remember switching Knowledge to Context Mode on by hand, and re-enabling it after every message, to work with a full document. You told us that was painful, so we rebuilt it. Full-document reading now happens automatically whenever your request calls for it, in chats and in custom bots alike.
Worth knowing, because it caused a lot of confusion: BoodleBox was never only reading part of your file. Every question always searched the whole document. What's new is that the complete text now gets loaded into the model's working context automatically when the task requires it.
